3rd Annual Turkey Run Review

Success.

78 cars came out, ranging from classic old school cars to the most recent of cars. The funny thing, not one single RX-8.

A few rotary guys had problems with their cars, but guess what, that's nothing new right? HaHa. You guys know I still love you. The bond between drivers are pretty strong. It was nice to see people helping others as much as they could.

December 19, 2010 Charity for Kids Rescheduled

From Moto-P (Club4ag)

Hi there,

I’m so sorry about the confusion. Lots of concurring events not in our favor, and the weather was not on our side as well as some resources like LEXUS with their LF-A which we really want to have at the event.

We’ve scheduled the event for the 19th of December, that is a Sunday and this is firm now.

Thank you so much for the enthusiasm and we hope you can all attend. We’ll be trying our best to make this a fun event for everyone attending!
We’ve got two more weeks to add to the list of raffle prizes and featured cars.

There is a raffle for those who register their cars on the venue, and prizes will consist of dozens of cool stuff from various aftermarket manufacturers. So register your cars!! IT doesn't have to be a show car, its a meet and there are no judges, just raffle tickets!!

We hope this does not inconvenience you in making arrangements to attend.
Let us know if you have any questions, and we’ll be happy to respond.

Regards,

Moto Miwa

To come hang out, its free but we encourage you to bring a $10 toy to donate as well.

No pressure, no strict rules, no judging... Let's just have fun this December, and help out some kids.

There will be no moving cars, racing or any hazardous stuff, rude antics, and unmannerly stuff on the venue please.

I'll post registration page this week as soon as things come together on the back end. few more papers need to get on file.

It's been a few years since Club4AG had a official get together, so lets make this fun.

Thanks to all of you guys.

Also, I'm looking for about 15-20 new people that can help out at the event for a few hours.
Just to keep things in check and position cars around in the morning. Let me know if you can help.

DMV - B-513... Barely at B-394.. Fk!

Arleta DMV.

I got my number after waiting for 25 minutes in front of the damn place. My number is B-513. Damn, I never got a number that high, I wonder how many people are inside and what is the number it's currently at. Step in, goddamn! Monitors everywhere showing that they are barely at B-394. Shit, I'm out-of-luck! Oh wells, sit and wait, what else, right!? Nearly two hours go by, my number pops up. Yes! Finally! The cubicle is across the damn place I was at, and the place is full of stupid people blocking walkways. I finally get there, but three seconds before I make it, the next number pops up for that cubicle, WTF?! SERIOUSLY?! WTF!? The other guy swoops in front of me, asshole! Too bad he didn't know what shithead he was going to talk to, and I wasn't going to help him out for doing that shit. The guy ahead of me wants to get his car registered, has all the papers and everything. The DMV associate, lets call him Bob for simplicity's sake, tells him that he needs to get the smog done. Little did the fucker know that the smog he has from the seller was good for three months, and Bob told him it was no good. Bob sent him home telling him he needs to do smog and come back. My turn, f these SOBs. So Bob asks me what I need help with, I'm a very nice guy with polite manners, so I tell him that I got a letter from the DMV, and hand it to him, and tell him that I sold my car and promptly mailed out the liability form. He asks me when I did it, I said I sold the car on September 25 and mailed out the form the following week. This stupid ass asks me, when did I mail it out. I'm thinking, WTF ASSHOLE, I JUST TOLD YOU, but instead I say, first week of October. He then tells me there is nothing he can do for me, the letter I gave him says that I can only call or go to their DMV website. I ask him about the release of liability and he says that he cannot process it due to insurance proof needed. I tell him that I've gotten my release processed no matter what. I ask him to check the system if my form went through. He tells me the car is still under my name and that there is nothing he can do about it. He is telling me all this with a stupid look on his face like he got smacked with a dildo. I tell him to f-in process it, I didn't come here for two hours to have nothing done for me. He asks me to leave and follow the directions on the DMV letter mailed to me. At this point, I start using my outside voice. Don't tell me to f-in leave, Don't tell me you can't do this shit, Don't f-in think you're better than me. You don't even try to help me, WTF is wrong with you. People are not supposed to be treated like this you f-in idiot. Let me talk to your supervisor! Then, of course, I already got everyone's attention, and obviously the super heard it. He walks over, tells the guy to get up and leave for the day, he just got his third complaint for the day. Supervisor apologizes for me, gets me all done up right, takes in my release of liability and gives me a copy stamped and dated. After it was done, I told the super thanks for helping me, but he should really fire that asshat for giving people problems and telling them lies because he doesn't want to do his job correctly. Then I tell the super that he fucked over the last guy too, look through his paperwork, the last guy had the smog done two months ago from the seller, but Bob told him he needed to do the smog to transfer title. He thanked me, then I walked out of there ASAP, f the DMV and anyone who thinks they know better.

Olde Suffolk English Ale

Facts: 5% alcohol. England.

This beer produces a dark amber brown color, very clear with medium carbonation. It has a strong alcohol smell to it. Initially, the flavors are great, however, it is weak, and the aftertaste is definite.

Lost Coast's Tangerine Wheat Beer

Facts: 5% alcohol. Eureka, California.

The beer pretty good. It pours a light, cloudy, non-see-through gold color with a rich white foam which dissipates rather quickly. It has medium carbonation. You can smell the tangerine before you take a sip. The flavor is very smooth and very light, however, it has quite a decent amount of hops. It is very easy to drink.

Modeling? Friends?

As the title says, I am looking for either models or friends, so tell me what you are interested in.

If you are new to modeling, or just want to get started, that is fine as well. I can even help you get set up with some face shots for free or whatever, so that you can start a portfolio. I need a model for the next car show or two, or whatever, so if you are interested, let me know. I go to a show roughly every month, but sometimes, more frequently. I could always use more than one model as well, so if you and your friend(s) want to do it, it is fine with me. Our team could definitely add some models.

Some shows that we plan on attending are:
Sunday 7/18/10 SPOCOM Long Beach Car Show
Sunday 7/25/10 Southern California Lexani Lifestyle Festival
Saturday 8/7/10 RPM Car Show
Saturday 8/21/10 HIN/NOPI Supershow Tour
Sunday 11/21/10 BOTI Fontana

Friends? I like to hang out and do things spontaneously on any given day of the week as well. I have lots of free time on my hands, so if you want to hang out and go do stuff, let me know.

Please only respond if you are serious. If I don't reply to your e-mail, it's because I am not going to join any site or register for anything that I think might be BS. Text or call me if you are really serious. Email me if you want, but don't expect me to email back if it seems non-legitimate.

Contact me if you are serious, please.

Hellaflush 5.0 Venice Beach, California

My siblings and I met up with some other fanatics at the 76 gas station at 7am in Encino, CA for the 818 caravan. We left at 7:15 and arrived a little before 8am due to some traffic caused by this crazy gathering. The gates closed at 10am, leaving many others that wanted to hard park their rides having to park elsewhere. I'm sure that there was over 500 cars in attendance.

Obviously, I didn't take a picture of everyone's car, so if I didn't take your picture, sorry. There were just too many cars, and I didn't really feel like taking any pictures in the first place, I just did it when I was really bored.

BBQ Unlimited

If you have yet to try BBQ Unlimited, now is the time.

If you like Won Ton, they make some of the most awesome-est!

This restaurant makes very down-to-earth REAL Chinese food. The food is not over-rated, it is very clean and natural.

They make everything from BBQ pork buns to Sui-Mai, as well as roasted duck and Chinese BBQ stuff. Heck, you can order a fully roasted pig if you want.

BBQ Unlimited

North Hollywood, CA

If you like the more authentic Chinese food, and less Americanized, give them a shot, guaranteed you'll like it!

20th Anniversary Miata

Stock is nice, but of course if I ever get one, it would have to be slammed with dope wheels.

Unibroue: Ephemere

Facts: Canadian. 5.5% alcohol.

This drink is considered an apple cider. It smells very fruity. To me, it is very much like pineapples with a little granny smith green apples. It has a pale gold color that is slightly cloudy and non-see-through. The flavor is very, very light with mainly the smell of apples with hints of spices.

I love the other beers from this company. They make good strong beers.

If you want something fruity, I would not suggest this one. It is decent, but for the price, try the other ones I've reviewed, heck, try two or possibly three.

Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout

Facts: 5% alcohol. England.

The beer pours out very dark. It is non-see-through. It pours pitch black with a light brown foam which has a very slow dissipation rate. The scent is very mild as if it was hiding an extremely outrageous drink.

I was disappointed. This beer is pretty light considering how dark it is. It was very misleading. It has very low carbonation. It is a very thin beer, almost like a lager, except that it is extremely dark and possibly double the amounts of hops.

Overall, it's a delicious beer except that it lacks body. Don't get your hopes up, definitely not a beer that you must try. It's more of a beer that you would drink if, say for instance, you normally drink Coronas but on this day, you rather have a Bud Light kind-of-deal.

Brother David's Double

Facts: California. 9% alcohol.

The beer has a dark amber color. When poured, it creates a nice white foam which fades quickly. It has very low carbonation.

It has a decent amount of flavor in the body. Great deal of hops for a double. Very tasty, but has a definite hint of alcohol. The aftertaste is quite bitter as well.

Overall, a decent beer, but nothing to fancy about. Very simple and average.

Monday, May 24, 2010

Samichlaus Classic Malt Liquor

Facts: 14% alcohol. Austria.

The first words that came out of my mouth were, "holy, what the f**k." The beer is a reddish amber color. It is also a lager. It has a lot of honey smell and a lot of sweet honey flavor too. Its just super sweet. The sweetness is very thorough and stays with you from beginning to end. There is very little hint of the hops. The aftertaste is very strong, and you can taste it well after you drink because all you can taste during the drink is the sweetness. The alcohol taste is barely noticeable.

This is definitely a beer to have a good time with. It could be very enjoyable as well as very dangerous. It has high alcohol value, but does not taste nearly as much as it suggests. It is easily consumable. Enjoy, be definitely drink responsibly.

Monk's Cafe Flemish Sour Ale

Facts: Product of Belgium.

The aroma when poured out is very strong. All kinds of mixed feeling arise. It screams out for attention. The taste that follows, does not follow! The smell is quite deceiving from the taste. The taste is pretty awesome though. It consists of granny smith green apples with light honey. The fizz dissipates quickly and the taste is rather fruity. The aftertaste goes away decently quick. This is one of those drinks when you wonder if you'd ever buy it again for its uniqueness, yet drink-ability.

Brother Thelonious Belgian Style Abbey Ale

Facts: 9.3% alcohol.

This beer is a Belgian style strong dark beer. It pours out a very nice dark mahogany color. The smell is very tempting. It has a slight honey smell blended with some dried fruits and nuts. The head is not too bad. It can be thick, but fades rather quickly. This beer has low carbonation and a strong body with medium hops. It also has a strong bold aftertaste.

Overall, this beer has a medium sweetness from start to finish to follow along with its medium strength in body.

Definitely a great beer, one that I love and will drink again. Definitely recommended.

Aspall Medium English Draft Cider

Facts: Made from 100% Fresh Pressed English Apple Juice. Made in England. 6.8% alcohol.

"Organic."

This drink is very clear, sparkling pale yellow. Very smooth refreshing drink with medium carbonation. It is light on tartness as well as dryness. It is a very earthy cider with no head.

This is an excellent cider for any day or anytime.

This is definitely one of the better ciders I've tried.

Red Pig Mexican Ale

Facts: Mexico. 5% alcohol.

This beer is pretty good. It has a clear, reddish-copper color. Very strong full-bodied aroma.

My first impression was, "there's no hint of Mexican in it." The taste, to me, is like a mix between a Sam-Adams and a Belgian beer. It has a strong bold flavor.

The drink is very smooth with medium carbonation. It has a strong bitter-sweet aftertaste that dissipates very quickly.

A must-try beer for everyone. Totally different from the norm.

IL CONTE D'ALBA Stella Rosa

Facts: Product of Italy. 5.5% alcohol.

This drink is for the person who doesn't like hard drinks. This drink is very fruity and very sweet from start to finish. It is easy to drink, lightly rosy on body with a aftertaste that is next to none. It has light carbonation and dryness.

It is a red wine that could you could drink room temp or cold. At chilled temperature though, this wine is so relaxing and easy consuming. It is definitely an easy wine to finish the night off with.

It is a very refreshing drink that my parents love.

To reiterate, this is a very fruity wine that is easy to consume and very refreshing.

Strawberry Blonde

Facts: Label doesn't quite say much. Belmont Brewing Company, Long Beach, CA.

Had to look it up on their website to find out that it contains 4.5% alcohol.

This craft beer is very easy to drink. Definitely a summer situation beer, however, it might pass as being feminine since after all, it is strawberry flavored.

It is a lightly carbonated weak beer, kind of like Bud Light, but with a lot of strawberry flavor in it and much less fizz. It is slightly sweet and the strawberry aroma thoroughly carries throughout.
